Autumn 2010 will further enhance Cunards illustrious reputation for exquisite ocean travel with the arrival of our newest liner, Queen Elizabeth. Recalling the rich heritage of the first Cunarder to bear the name, her elegance both echos that legendary age and enhances her luxurious modern allure.

The harmony of classic and contemporary strikes an elegant chord throughout this magnificent ship. Images and features from her predecessors, Queen Elizabeth and QE2, sit comfortably alongside her modern charm.

Other Areas of the Ship

Games Deck

The Games Deck is another spot with a decidedly British touch. Beneath a canopy at the ship's top deck, you can engage in games such as paddle tennis, croquet and even bowls, inspired by England's oldest bowling green in Southampton.

Garden Lounge

Inspired by the glass houses of Kew Gardens in London, the Garden Lounge harkens to a similar venue on the original Cunard ocean liner for which she was named. In addition to being a popular meeting place, this lounge boast occasional evening Supper Clubs with live music, dancing and light fare.

Royal Spa and Fitness Centre

The Royal Spa and Fitness Centre comprises breathtaking ocean views, relaxation areas, beautifully appointed treatment rooms, indulgent therapies and a panoramic glass encased fitness centre.

Princess Grill

The Princess Grill offers spectacular culinary experiences amidst an intimate surrounding. Guests will feel as if they've entered a private club as they are greeted by name and escorted to their table. An ambiance of refined elegance pervades, and the cuisine is nothing short of spectacular.

The Verandah

The Verandah, a formal alternative dining venue is your invitation to savor contemporary French cuisine that uses ingredients sourced in France, along with an ambiance that recalls the legendary Verandah Grill aboard the original Queen Elizabeth.

Queens Room

Afternoon tea in the Queens Room is a Cunard signature not to be missed. White-gloved waiters serve delightful cucumber sandwiches, fresh scones and tea accompanied by the beautiful sounds of the orchestra.

Café Carinthia

Succumb to several varieties of specialty teas and rich aromatic coffees that can be found in this delightfully relaxing venue, not to mention the indulgent pastries that are on offer.

Grills Lounge

Exclusive to Grill guests, this refined, comfortable and relaxed haven is perfect for a pre-dinner tipple with friends. Enjoy traditional afternoon tea or sample something special from the bespoke tea menu.

Entertainment

Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar

If you fancy a glass of bubbly before taking your table for dinner then the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar is the perfect location. Guests may choose from among seven different Veuve Clicquot Champagnes, served by the bottle or the glass.

Commodore Club

This popular lounge offers live piano music and cocktails, including 50 signature martinis.

Royal Court Theatre

These are among the most dazzling theatres at sea, presenting exciting original productions.

Yacht Club

The Yacht Club is bound to be one of the ship's favorite gathering places, with live jazz in the evening and commanding 270-degree views of sea and sky.

Midships Bar

The original Queen Elizabeth is celebrated in this warm and sophisticated venue perfect for pre-dinner drinks or a relaxing evening around the piano.

Youth Facilities

Cunard offers exciting, complimentary programs to all children and teenagers, aged 1-17.

Highlights include:

Opening Hours: 9AMMidnight. Closed for Lunch from noon to 2PM. (Parents need to make dining arrangements for their children during the lunch period.)
Certified British nannies on board to care for babies aged one and above. Supervised nurseries with baby toys and cribs.
Special childrens supper/tea served between 5PM-6PM daily, allowing parents to have formal dinner by themselves.
Childrens activities including: arts and crafts, sports competitions, discos, games, pizza parties, story time and movies.
Teen activities include: Xbox video games, dances, parties, late-night movies, table-tennis tournaments, basketball and ship tours.
